What we collect
- Your first name, your cell number and, if you give it, your email.
- Your car (make, and what you tell us about it) and the service you ask for.
- Your appointment date and time, and our text messages.
Nothing else is collected on this site: no advertising cookies, no ad tracking.
Why
- To confirm and remind you of your appointment.
- To send you the estimate and tell you when your car is ready.
- To ask for a Google review after your visit (you can say no).
We don't use your information for anything else without asking you. We never sell it.
Your consent and text messages
By booking or writing to us, you agree that we may text you about it. Reply STOP to any text to stop getting them. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who has access
The shop's team, and only what's needed for your appointment. Our technical providers (website hosting, text sending, calendar) [provider names] process data for us, on our instructions. Some data may be hosted outside Quebec [to confirm per provider]; we make sure it is adequately protected there.
How long
As long as it's useful to serve you and keep your car's history, at most [number] years after your last visit. Then we destroy it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw your consent. Write to info@autotechgaren.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
Map and outside links
The map on our pages comes from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may use its own cookies under its own rules. Links to Facebook or Google follow their rules too.
Privacy incidents
If your information is affected by an incident that carries a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information.
